Pros

Money is really good if you can sell. Benefits kick in after 90 days. Thats about it.

Cons

Highest turnover rate i've ever seen. We started the year with 30 people and now they are down to 11 employees in the sales department. That doesnt include all the people that quit. They tell you monday-friday but since I have been there (2 years) we have had a total of 2 saturdays off that werent a holiday weekend. They will use you all spring and then look for any reason to fire you by the end of the year so they dont have to pay you all of your back end commission.

Pros

Good benefits, on-site wellness/fitness center at the Corporate Headquarters in Marysville, great brands and superior products.

Cons

The culture is rough. Pretty much sink or swim, and very in your face. Be prepared to show up fighting every day. Morale is very low across the organization, and many people are looking for a way out. Things are easy if you are a "good ole boy"....very few women in Senior positions.

Pros

started in feb 2012 - due to warm spring and lost over 30 lbs - changed from paying you for distance to proving 2 /hr extra for commutes over 30 minutes - initial salary 13/hr = total 15/hr 401k & roth - strongly recommend their Roth - over 401K - have a very good match invest 1/2 salary

Cons

scheduling typically worked 15 hr a wk in feb & 20 hr/wk in march 30 hrs a week in april fell back to 20 hrs in may and 8 hrs in June - fertilizer sales from june to september are very slow & only multi-year are kept - other part time employees get laidoff in summer & after october -
