Pros

Dedicated smart ICs on the ground

Cons

I used to love this company. I used to sing it's praises to anyone that would listen. Now, this company makes no sense. #1 - You have no say in what you work on, yet, if what you work on doesn't end up bringing in more revenue, then that's a failure and it's on you. #2 - C-suite and VPs say "employees come first" and also "we are a cut-throat sports team. Suck it up or get out". #3 - HR says "we care about diversity and inclusion". Yet POC are overwhelmingly underrepresented in C-suite and VPs #4 - CEO says "we definitely have a vision. You're just too stupid to understand it" then COO proceeds to say more vague words. (I guess I'm still too stupid to understand it) #5 - HR says "we care about psychological safety". I report harassment and abuse from my manager for the past few months. My manager has been allowed to retaliate. #6—The manager says, "I care about your work-life balance." I work insane hours, and my workload is still not completed. But it's not the workload, it's a me-problem. I can go on and on, but I'll spare you.

Pros

In the past, projects felt somewhat scattered across the three products, but this has noticeably improved. There’s more patience for learning compared to other publicly traded companies I’ve worked for. Leadership prioritizes doing things the right way and is willing to invest the necessary time and resources to achieve long-term success. The company is filled with genuinely great people, both at the leadership and IC levels, you feel supported and set up to succeed in your role. RSUs are fair, and the benefits are excellent. Common to see strong performers rewarded with promos 1 year in.

Cons

Managing three distinct products can sometimes feel a bit disjointed when resources are spread across all areas, but this has been improving recently. While senior roles occasionally require late nights, the WLB here is significantly better than at any other tech company I've worked for. TC may be on the lower side for some teams, but largely aligns with the WLB and strong opportunities for growth - lots of folks getting promoted and growing quickly.
