Good people, autonomy, and inspired vision
Pros
After some changes at the end of last year, it took some time to build back momentum, but we're now feeling the benefits of those changes, working in a more streamlined way than ever. People are empowered to do meaningful work and trusted to get it done. And after a recent company event that brought all employees together, it feels like everyone is genuinely on the same page and inspired for the future. Plus, the recent recommittment to not returning to office (which is a perk most of us value heavily) was reassuring, though I'm happy we still get to have occasional in-person meetups.
Cons
There are a couple folks who seem reluctant to get on board and put in the effort that the rest of us are which is frustrating since we're all busy. Luckily, these people are the outlier and the rest of the team is awesome to work with. We have ambitious goals and need everyone to pull their weight.
