Pros
Good experience for people who want to explore a medical career, or for medical students to gain some experience. Nationwide company which theoretically makes it easy to transfer to other locations (ie if you need to move to a new city for school, etc). Good way to network within a local medical community as well.
Cons
Decent wage for people just starting out but does not pay well enough to support a family (comparative wage to McDonalds, at least in my area). Poor/no benefits - I am full time and any time I try to sign up for benefits it feels like a fight to get it through. I actually just gave up trying to get health insurance through them even though I would technically qualify because HR kept wrongfully denying my application (had me listed as part time, even though as manager I work 60hr weeks frequently). It can also be a very long road to get anything done within this company. I am currently employed as a site manager and it took 8 months to have an employee raise approved and initiated for my workers.
