Pros
Gain some clinical experience/terminology, which is helpful for those who want to get into a healthcare career or are planning to go to PA or medical school.
Cons
The management (or lack thereof) is terrible. I never received the appropriate training for how to use the EMR systems, nor did I receive training for the specialty practice I would be working in. The management staff is very young (most of them in their early 20s) and they do not have the appropriate experience or level of knowledge to train others, let alone run a company. I often felt very disrespected by my leaders. The pay is also terrible, and somewhat degrading, for the amount of work you will be doing and the amount of your own time you have to put into studying terminology. The only thing that has kept me with this position is my need for some clinical experience prior to PA school. I will never work for this company again, and would advise others against working for this company.
