Pros

If you're interested in gaining medical knowledge before going to med school or nursing school - something along that line- this job is truly a good opportunity to do that.

Cons

Shift work is usually the case if in an Emergency Room, and that isn't too fun.

Pros

Clinical experience. Depending on where/who you work with, can be pretty enjoyable and definitely valuable experience. By 'who' I mean the healthcare providers not ScribeAmerica.

Cons

Awful. Completely disorganized. Awful pay.

Pros

Work closely with doctors, great exposure to hospital ED environment if you're into it, and different patient situations, can potentially learn a lot and earn a good letter of recommendation in time

Cons

No real break, work nonstop for 10 hours and stuff down some food quickly during downtime, stressful, massive learning curve getting used to the charting system and flow of ED, only worth it if you are a serious med student, pay is $8 for first 90 days
