Pros

Stable industry and a product that seems to be competing well

Cons

I put in my two weeks notice after I received a new job opportunity. They let me go a week early without pay. I also felt way too specialized in my role.

Pros

Love the remote capability and freedom of working within their core hours. Higher on pay was great.

Cons

It's common knowledge, even in the higher ups, that there is no documentation or guidance in procedures for our teams. It's extremely frustrating that a new person has to "just know" or you'll learn the hard way in failing. Pay increase for promotion was a joke. We're short staffed but manager says we can't hire more team members.

Pros

Their on-boarding process is probably the best I've had in my 30-year career. Within my department, at least, there is very little drama. For the most part, the focus is on finding the best solution rather than placing blame or protecting territory. I can find no fault in how they are handling the COVID-19 pandemic. The balance that has been struck between working remotely and being in the office is ideal as far as I am concerned. They place a real emphasis on keeping employees engaged and feeling appreciated. I like that the culture allows for improvements in how we do things.

Cons

This has not affected me personally, but I get the sense that some are reluctant to ruffle the feathers of any executive because most of them are related. Sometimes changes in direction come quickly and will little notice. The flip side of that is that decisions that need to be made do not appear to be impeded by committee.
