Pros

I'm giving them a 3, because I believe in the product and how they can help pharmacies. 10+ years ago, it was a great place to work. People were happy, you could feel the teamwork and it was exciting. You felt good about what you were doing and that you were helping people. As the years went on, you still felt like you were doing a good job, but it wasn't always shown. Company Farm Party is great for the kids, and you have a small chance of winning something. Fitness center on site is nice, but very limited in what you can do.

Cons

It appears the company cares more about its appearance than about its employees. "No raises because we spent to much on R& D or lawn care, or building a new building". Sales has become a toxic environment where everyone is out to stab someone else in the back and skill and longevity is no longer valued. People who are not performing are kept over people that have consistently performed, because they are cheaper. If you are successful, peers dislike you and work to make you look bad. No longer any resemblance of teamwork/collaboration. Very little room for growth in the sales department.

Don't work here if you have career goals

Pros

I don't have any compliments, it's a job. The original product (sp200) was a hit 20 years ago, and the company is still operating off the maintenance fees they're collecting off SP 200 sales. Every other product they have rolled out since then has mostly failed.

Cons

There is almost no room for advancement (unless your are related to the owner). The few positions that are available, do not come with pay raises. They always say they want you to prove yourself first. It is genuinely a toxic environment environment to work in. Most of the people really don't care, they're just putting in their time until they can go home.

Pros

Current employees are great, some of the management is great to work with. The farm party and Christmas parties are great. They also have a decent gym you can use for free.

Cons

Where do I begin * The management tend to micro-manage their employees all the time. I.E.: Aux times are monitored strictly, they will assign many tickets to you, They will ask you to stop your troubleshooting and answer a call, SLA is hard to meet. * They can take anybody off the street with Customer Service experience and teach them the job. People with IT experience are less valued in CS. * Most of the products are proprietary, so if you want to grow a career in IT this is not the place to do it, unless you work in the IS department. * The raises are very minimal, or some years non-existent. You could do a bang up job for the whole year and get a low raise, or not be promoted. * There has been so much turn-over in the CS department over the years. * The 401k here is ok, but not great * Management gives you false hope in advancing in your career objectives. You pretty much have to be buddy-buddy with the overall manager to get promoted. * The morale of the department has gone way down in the past years. * policies are sent mostly through emails and change way too often. * the department has turned from a Technical Service desk to a call center, which doesn't seem to fit for the kind of work this position entails. * They only pay for either a network + ,or Secirty + once you have DoD access. So if you are looking for a company to pay for your certification in CS look somewhere else, unless you are in the IS department.

Decent Company

Pros

Finally allowed *some* departments to work remotely full time. Raises are a standard 3% but if you do well and insist on more, you can often get it, especially now when companies are scrambling for employees.

Cons

Promotions rarely occur anytime other than annual review time, meaning your annual raise + salary increase for promotion is lumped into one, possibly resulting in less of an increase.

Pros

people were great to work with most of the time, the staff that maintains the cleaniness of the building is great, the free gym was great of the company is great the free gym is great

Cons

favoritism, low raises, horrible 401 k, for most advancement takes longer than three years due to cliquish environment, people would leave the company in order to apply for a job in a different department or division because management will not allow the person to interview for jobs in other divisions because they do not want to lose the head count.

Pros

Supportive management that helps you find your place in the company. Room for advancement if you work for it. Great atmosphere where everyone seems to be on the same team. The pay seems fair and I've received a few raises since getting hired. The benefits are nice and provide good coverage at a reasonable price. They have professionals coming to campus all the time to help you with your 401k. I have never worked for a company that has done so much to make me feel valued and welcome. I started here as a contractor assembly tech that came in during a large project. I ended up getting hired and I've moved up the ladder rather swiftly. They also have some cool features on campus such as the free fitness center, small convenience stores, and free food on the regular being brought in by other employees. Add on top the large parties and events that are thrown year round, it really is a great place to work. I come into work every day happy to be there and see everyone I work with.

Cons

I've noticed some communication issues, but they are always working on doing better. I've noticed some flip-flopping with upper management. But that may be due to the industry. I can't think of anything else!

Pros

Fitness Center for its Empolyees

Cons

1. Insurance cost: Family Coverage is over 10,000.00 per year that comes out of your check. 2. Low Pay: Company is well below average pay in the Kansas City Market for 85% of the positions. Most departments are salary, and employees are expected to work more than 40 hours. Exception is a particular area that is still hourly and gets overtime easily approved. They're majority of the problem. This area is charged with researching, developing, and testing all hardware and software products before being released to new and existing customers. Due to lack of leadership, procedures, and non-technical people (they let the good ones walk), they spend resources (people and dollars) fixing issues that were supposedly tested before release. Each year, the company lays off quite a few employees because R & D is too high. This being the reason why. 3. Wrong people in leadership roles. Not sure what the requirements are to become one, but managing people is not one of them. Positive feedback, and talking to anyone that’s not a friend is against company policy. No communication! 4. Company employees over 700 people. Two minorities are in a supervisory position. Enough said. 5. No Tuition Reimbursement. 6. No path for advancement. You might get a new title, but doesn't come with a pay raise. 7. 401K. Better ROI in a Money Market Account

Not the Kind of Place You Stay

Pros

- Decent coverage on health benefits + dental and vision. - Average to slightly above average pay in certain positions - WFH an option for certain positions

Cons

- Family-owned, nepotism in higher management positions - Very clique-based work atmosphere - Weird circle of employment with 2 other companies, with many employees going to or coming from, or even returning from these companies - Get told there's no money for raises this year only to watch the company do 3 pointless breakroom renovations and perform some exterior decorating - Health insurance with homework (if you don't want to pay an outrageous premium) (Vitality program) - High turn-over in entry level positions - Genuinely skilled people tend to get forced or annoyed out of their positions - Most systems are proprietary, so gaining experience in a technical field will likely not apply outside the company (especially true of entry level technical positions)
