Pros

The people that sold themselves to this company are some of the best.

Cons

Base salary was below market standards. Management consistently created a difficult and demotivating environment, making it the most challenging leadership dynamic I've encountered. Despite repeated concerns, the company failed to address cultural issues or improve communication. Onboarding and training resources were minimal, leaving new employees underprepared and unsupported.

Decent Company

Pros

Finally allowed *some* departments to work remotely full time. Raises are a standard 3% but if you do well and insist on more, you can often get it, especially now when companies are scrambling for employees.

Cons

Promotions rarely occur anytime other than annual review time, meaning your annual raise + salary increase for promotion is lumped into one, possibly resulting in less of an increase.

Pros

Easy to get promoted and decent raises with that, but raises almost nonexistant otherwise. Lots of travel, an excellent way to get into an industry, and a great way to get experience.

Cons

Starting salary is very low compared to similar positions elsewhere. Upper management is a joke. Communication between management and employees is rarely done well.

Pros

Switching from hourly to salary was a great opportunity

Cons

Direct management needs to be reevaluated. Forced employees to quit rather than fix the useless supervisor.

Pros

Flexible scheduling, free access to gym/gym classes

Cons

Benefits are somewhat lacking (401k match is 0.25% per dollar allocated, so you would need to allocate 12% of your salary to receive maximum 3% company match) CEO has too many irons in the fire which resulted in multiple rounds of layoffs as projects were later scrapped.

Pros

You get to travel for trainings and the job is remote

Cons

Underpaid - You make around the median (US) salary (2022) ~50k Overworked: - You can stay hours on 1 phone call depending on the type of customer - Phone calls are almost back to back (you have maximum 5-10 mins after a call to write notes before a supervisor messages you and tell you to grab the next call) - You work 4 days a week but work 10 hours MINIMUM each day - No career development - Work on holidays - Dealing with stressed, and sometimes very rude customers - Request to change shift will be ignored. So if you choose to work on weekends, make sure you are ok with it because they will not give you an option to switch even if they say will. - Poor 401(k) benefits No raises but always more work to load on you
