1. Great product that people love. 2. Thriving open-source community. 3. Great benefits. 4. Competitive Salary. 5. Filled with very intelligent people. 6. Remote workforce.

Cons

1. CEO micromanages everyone to the point of reduced productivity and outcomes. 2. CEO is not the right person for the job. The company needs a real CEO that understands the business side. 3. Company is focused more on their open-source product rather than the sales side. 4. Difficult to work with other developers and management due to strong opinions and egos. 5. Engineers are required to write frequent blog articles that take away their development time..

Fast moving smart company

Pros

People here know how to solve problems at all levels of complicated distributed systems. No matter what kind of obscure knowledge you are looking for about how to make software run fast, somebody knows it or will write the code to learn it. And they can explain it well.

Cons

Zero hand holding, you are expected to be able to manage your own time and keep up with the ambitious schedule of features and customer needs. If you want a pumpkin carving contest look for a bigger company.

Pros

Very brilliant people putting out some amazing technology. Bold vision and ambitious goals. An engineering-led organization focused on performance, tuning, reliability and scale. One of the greatest logos in all of the tech industry in terms of cuteness and rememberability. Great community of users and customers. CEO is extremely solid: technical, well connected to industry, caring for his people.

Cons

CEO lacks polish; at times can come off as bull-headed, abrasive or dismissive. Not fatal flaw; just a rough diamond to be polished. Salary was not competitive to current market.
