Senior leadership is distant and uninterested in anything other than their metrics. It's been at least 4 years since "my boss's boss" had a conversation with me and solicited my opinion - the only conversation they initiate is when they needed something from me. Decisions are theirs to make, but their distance means they are making them without having all the information and expertise they should - and making many of them wrong. It's also alienating long time experts in what they do - that their opinion is not sought or valued.
Also, Veralto is clearly not focused on helping Sea-Bird - even more so than when it was Danaher. The attitude of many senior Hach and Veralto leaders towards Sea-Bird and their concerns borders on professional negligence of their duties. The service that employees get from centralized functions like HR and IT is flat out pathetic.
