Pros

You get free admission to all their parks for you and your family, plus discounts on purchases in the park and other attractions in FL. Their internal application platform is easy to use and always has a good number of possitions posted for all their parks.

Cons

My manager treats us like children, and will suddenly make process changes and scold us as if we should have been doing it that way the whole time. But that issue is isolated to my office. The bigger issue is park wide. For some context, I make $17.50/hr and the park minimum wage is $14/hr. The benefits are terrible and expensive. The pay rate is low and there is very little reward for staying a long time (e.g. one of my coworkers has been here for 16 years and only makes $2.50/hr more than I do). I make barely over the average cost of living in the area which means if I wasn't married, I'd be scaping by and not able to build up a savings. Many of the other workers in the park are not as lucky. I make more than a lot of the hourly workers here and more than most of the others in my office. I have met many people who do live paycheck to paycheck and cannot afford to miss even one. They are essentially trapped in a low paying position because they cannot afford to leave. It's sick. The park minimum wage is not even competitive with the other parks in the area, and they wonder why all the good workers are going to Universal. Overall, it's not a good place to work. Don't settle for their low paying bs. Know your worth.
