      Big Company in Minneapolis Area.

      Cons

      Bad & Unethical Leadership. A lady IT Director working in ERP division of IT almost owns Seagate because of the no. of years she worked there. She doesn't let Senior IT Mgr to stay in company. Doesn't follow standards or compliance policies. Keeps Personal grudges with Team members. Very bad decision to join. IT Managers Beware !!!!

      Pros

      Good compensation and benefits, some amazing people to work with, some horrible ones as well. They will give you every tool you need to succeed and excel in your position...

      Cons

      Two rounds (or more) of RIFs every year. The entire RIF list contains nothing but folks over 40. They are screaming for an age discrimination law suit like the one they paid out in 2011... Seems they never learn

      Pros

      Good work/life balance, and I think this is the only advantage of Seagate that I can think right now.

      Cons

      Inefficient for adopting new ideas. Too many lay-offs, and the lay-off is not based on your performance evaluation. Too many reorganizations. Too much politics for a technology company. Compensation is below average.
