Pros

Good environment for growth and learning. I honestly love my colleagues. Interesting, challenging work.

Cons

1. Attrition cascade due to poor HR decisions (increasingly uncompetitive pay). Senior employees leave, but we replace them with new college grads. Senior staff that remain shoulder the burden of their own work + the work of those who left + training new hires. 2. Covid response: 2.1. Vaccine/reporting mandate, even for remote workers (this is unscientific, now that vaccines are shown to not contribute to herd immunity). 2.2. Vacillating between requiring on-site or off-site work. 2.3. Closed the gym for two years (and counting). 2.4. One-way stickers, social distancing posters, health declarations, temperature scanners, and a dozen other impotent measures. 2.5. Frequent emails regarding colleagues getting covid. 1/3 of Americans got covid in 2020. I really don't want to hear about it every time one of my colleagues gets the sniffles. 3. Waterfall project management, as opposed to agile project management.

Pros

Cafe' food is good Some travel is nice. Nice employee groups that do good in the community

Cons

The legal department needs to be gutted. Supervisors/Management are so inefficient and unethical. The department reporting system causes so many issues. If you are not in the CA office you are treated like trash. There is no team work. Just a cut throat environment. They do not provide ADA accommodations. Even when asked for. In March of 2020 staff without children were told they still had to report to work, while staff with children were told they could work from home. This was deplorable. Even though it's been over 12 month you still owe each and every employee an apology for telling them their lives weren't important. Non-attorney staff are told that being harassed by internal clients is part of the job. And that we are not allowed to defend ourselves with out getting in trouble. They claim to support diversity and inclusion, but that is not the case. Females are not treated equally. They have policies that do not allow fellow employees to give references. This is horrible for past employees trying to get new jobs. A reference is not the same as an employment verification.

Pros

Good pay and benefits - but that's it

Cons

Terrible managers. Office politics abound. Toxic culture. Insecurity. No psychological safety.
