Pros

Storage demand is huge, but when compared to WD, the direction is missing.

Cons

No direction at the top. Too frequent layoffs. Employee morale has tanked.

Pros

Good sales team. In general friendly work environment with good people, except that hostile working environment and confrontational communication style were brought in by former WD executives. It's a shame.

Cons

Top performers leaving the company voluntarily due to bad management. Smart hard working employees got laid off or push out without valid reasons. Long time Partners / Customers were being treated unfairly.

Pros

Good work/life balance. Great co-workers. Working style is not as fast-paced as other companies, less pressure makes it easier to complete projects thoroughly.

Cons

Most of the employees are older (45+) and are set in their ways. They don't like helping the younger employees (35 and younger) because they think of them as a threat. A lot of useless employees suck up enough to management to find themselves in project management type roles when in reality all they do is ask other engineers for updates and forward slides to upper management acting like they made some contribution.
