      Pros

      No pros to joining Seagate now. If you are employed by Seagate, enjoy the ride.

      Cons

      Top mgmt decisions of the last 5 years have crippled the company. Mergers/acquisitions haven't panned out resulting in a losses. Mgmt extremely focused on manipulating the stock price via share buyback, dividends and cost cutting to the detriment of creating products to sell. Yearly layoffs for the past decade. (Sometimes multiple times a year.) Lack of employee training has resulted in stagnate wages and knowledge.
