There was little or no care shown to the people doing the actual work. It was clear that management didn't really care about what we said regarding directives we were given, just that we needed to get them done. When layoffs happened, it was all done hush-hush and you didn't know if you were going to be next that day. People were just escorted out of the office without a word or even an email going out saying what was happening.

Where do I even start with Seagate? When they hired me they promised the world, but reality is something completely different: - I have reported harassment from a colleague 3 times, and HR has yet to do anything because this man is BFFs with the whole HR team. - They assigned me projects with 0 training, and did not give me support when I asked. Then they gave me a poor performance review. - They hired me to do high level research work, but the reality is I'm doing data cleaning every day. - There are people on my team that don't even bother logging in anymore, because they don't have work. Whereas the rest of us are swamped with projects. - There are groups of employees who have been at Seagate for 20+ years and they're all a giant clique. Don't fit into the clique? Let alone lose hope of being promoted, just hope that you are acknowledged.
