Pros

This is a company that is just hitting its groove. There is little tolerance for sub par performance as most projects have strict deadlines. All projects are using cutting edge technologies, which is great for career growth. Work atmosphere is great and very collaborative. They offer flexible work schedules as long as you perform. Now getting tier 1 clients and projects that are not budget constrained.

Cons

Some of the past projects were with startups with limited capital. This lead to some issues over initial estimates and actual costs. Some of the original team members are not suitable for management,

No idea what they're doing

Pros

Location downtown makes for good lunch, dinner, and happy hour choices.

Cons

Upper management has no idea how to run a project. President is great at selling the illusion of success, but then no one has a clue how to deliver. Projects are always late, quality suffers, customers are always mad, most don't pay, and almost every project has been canceled. Many mgmt. personnel gossip openly about employees and bully others.

Pros

Seamgen is a refreshing environment to become immersed in, and you can sense that from the moment you walk through the doors. The business casual setting allows for freedom of expression, and the multitude of industries that the company has chosen to open themselves up to allows for developers and designers alike to gain experience across the board. Being a small business, one's ideas are easily heard from upper management, and if beneficial, taken into true consideration. The potential for teamwork throughout the entire agile process allows for quicker growth and a broader resume for those directly involved in its projects. The careful consideration taken into hiring allows for the creation of an environment where nearly every member "clicks" on his or her level of skill set and creativity.

Cons

Although some individuals thrive under the lack of a strict daily regimen and micro-managed deliverables, some employees don't seem to take the initiative necessary for the success of their own careers within Seamgen. Being a small company, a little extra elbow grease goes a long way in seeing growth.
