-you do have to purchase your own laptop/extra monitor, HOWEVER they do reimburse you in full for that. If you leave within two years, you will have to pay them back
-training is taken extremely seriously. you cannot use PTO within your first two months unless you very explicably tell your recruiter, training manager, and team lead. training also felt very micro managed. to be fair, it is a very important time when you start with the company but only get 30 minutes for lunch, you HAVE to be at a place and time on the dot, and are constantly on zoom with your camera on. again - after training, you get much more free reign once you're on a team
-not necessarily a con but...this is still a start up company. change happens very frequently around here so you could get used to one team's processes/way of doing things and then get put on someone elses team that does things different. BUT this change is only happening because the company is growing in the right direction
-can only contribute to your 401k after being at the company for one year
