Pros

I was a SDR here for 3 months. Almost two months in training and after one full month of SDR was promoted to Account executive. The culture here blows my mind. Everyone wants to see eachother succeed. There is no place for selfishness.

Cons

I wish i found this opportunity sooner!

Pros

Wanted to make an honest review as someone who vigorously researched the company. The negative reviews were a bit scary so if you are like me, I hope this helps. -Training was very well organized. They don't just throw you to the wolves, they make sure you're all set and ready to go with the systems before you start dialing. During training you also get to meet with many different job positions/leaders within the company and get a better understanding of everything the company does -Everyone is here to help you. While you're responsible for your own quota at the end of the day, if you are stuck and struggling and you reach out to someone, they will be there to help you succeed -Tremendous growth opportunity - you have the opportunity to get promoted from being an SDR after your second month of being here. There really aren't too many SaaS companies out there with that type of opportunity. Some of my coworkers have been here for a very short time and have already been promoted to AE or to Team Leads -Have met so many great people who I now consider friends -You will learn so much about sales here. Not just about Seamless, but other companies as a whole. You also get access to use Seamless which includes sales training courses to help grow your knowledge -Once you get on a team after training, you get much more free reign and it doesn't feel micromanagey by any means -Even at an SDR level, the opportunity to make 6 figures is there -Seamless itself is a really cool and useful tool to have as a salesrep

Cons

-you do have to purchase your own laptop/extra monitor, HOWEVER they do reimburse you in full for that. If you leave within two years, you will have to pay them back -training is taken extremely seriously. you cannot use PTO within your first two months unless you very explicably tell your recruiter, training manager, and team lead. training also felt very micro managed. to be fair, it is a very important time when you start with the company but only get 30 minutes for lunch, you HAVE to be at a place and time on the dot, and are constantly on zoom with your camera on. again - after training, you get much more free reign once you're on a team -not necessarily a con but...this is still a start up company. change happens very frequently around here so you could get used to one team's processes/way of doing things and then get put on someone elses team that does things different. BUT this change is only happening because the company is growing in the right direction -can only contribute to your 401k after being at the company for one year
