Pros

the ONLY pro is that it's remote & you're able to leave early on fridays if you are an SDR.

Cons

this company is so bad, i wanted to give them a zero, but that's not possible.. so I give them a 1. - Extremely high turnover rate, the highest I’ve ever seen. They hire 10-15 people a week & the majority of them either quit or get fired within the first 3 months - They will fire 10+ people at a time without ANY warning to anyone & lie to the rest of the company & say it was because you didn’t put in the activity & that’s why they fired so many people - Extremely low base pay - They expect you to call 700-800 people a day if you aren’t booking any meetings, which causes so much burnout. - Working for the company, in my opinion, is kind of embarrassing. I’ve had multiple people from outside of Seamless tell me how obnoxious our CEO is & how they think calling 500+ people a day is ridiculous & draining. - You are on Zoom all day, but God forbid you’re in a Zoom room with friends you are comfortable pitching off mute with. They want you in a Zoom room with the TOP SDRs so you can become a “better SDR” yourself, even though they’re all on mute & cameras off. So really, it does absolutely nothing for you to get better. - The company is ALL about hustle culture - They expect you to obsessed with Seamless - They don’t care about you at all. Someone in your family could have died & they’ll just be like “Aw, I’m sorry……. Keep those numbers up though” - During Black History Month, the CEO said during a meeting that one of the workers at Seamless used to feel whipped & chained onto a chair at his last job??? Don’t know why anyone would say those specific words, ESPECIALLY during BHM & ESPECIALLY the CEO. It is so embarrassing.

Pros

fully remote and great product

Cons

-Boiler room sales -Worst leadership team you could ever work for. -Pipeline is built by unqualified SDR's booking total trash meetings on your calendar. -No GTM Strategy. -CEO is a "Wanna be Grant Cardone" -Meat grinder of a culture. -70+ hours a week minimum -Leadership expects your life to revolve around the company. -Leadership will write you up if you do not go on and post positive reviews on Glassdoor. -Consistently ask internal employees to post positive reviews to offset bad reviews. (seems pretty guilty wouldn't you say?) -Most toxic culture and atmosphere you could ever imagine. -Work life balance is non-existent. -Inequality is huge here. Not diverse at all.

Pros

Honestly couldn't think of one

Cons

Recruiter was very confused or lied about the job overall Pay is ridiculously low and they want you to do a lot 45+ hrs worth of meetings a month... and they just waste time during them Get this..... they make you buy a laptop yourself, promise to reimburse you but if you leave within 2 years they will take the money back from your paycheck. So it's..... effectively your laptop right? But legal doesn't let you do anything on it. You can't even have Spotify on your work laptop? This, along with the IT team's overreach is just 24/7 micromanagement. You're asked constantly what you're doing. There's actually 20 days PTO..... which you think is cool right?! No..... because you actually get 0 sick time. In a post-Covid land, why is that a thing? So if you get sick. Good luck. No vacation or rest for you. I don't know man, I was there for a short time, I had to get out there was so many red flags. The CEO thinks he's god. Sharing constant "motivation speeches" on slack every 5 minutes.
