Pros

Culture is really inclusive, good vision of company goals, and heading in right direction.

Cons

The pay is not good. Definitely holds back on promoting internally and paying employees the market average for their position.

Pros

I had a lot of opportunities. Got to grow with the company. Great managers, directors, and VPs. Great product and simple to learn, use and teach. Shannon Arnold, Director of Mid Market and SMB, is a great person to work for. If nothing else working under her is worth working at Seamless.AI. She is very knowledgeable and teaches, as well genuinely cares about you AND your growth. Pretty generous PTO for not having unlimited. Seamless.AI is an in demand and great tool! It is easy to use, easy to learn, and easy to train on. As far as teaching people how to use it, it is probably the easiest job you will ever have. Basically if you have the positional skills you will look like a rock star when you learn the product.

Cons

Historically I have seen a lot of people promoted to team lead who do not have leadership capabilities and are only promoted on performance. They can perform, just can't help others perform too. I brought my team lead in on a customer call once and when the customer explained how his executive leadership was going to proceed during a disagreement, she began to belittle the customer and absolutely destroyed my credibility and chance of renewal. In other positions here I had team leads who didn't know how to help others hit quota in sales, in onboarding I had a team lead who did nothing but order people around and didn't do any work himself. There is no way to really express grievances with team leads without concern of repercussions. In my case bringing it up to the team lead led to an ugly end of my time at Seamless.AI. I have seen great people let go for silly reasons. It is a startup though, so if you don't like when policies and practices change frequently, this company and any start up wouldn't be a good fit. Pretty average pay across departments.

Work-life balance is of utmost importance to leadership, and is a big reason why we are a fully remote company. We want our employees to have energy after work to spend time with family and do things they enjoy.
