Pros

Please dont work here. You're better than that. But if you'really pressed for cash..... Training is easy and fun for the first two weeks. With this position one assumes that you will be helping INTERESTED customers find products that fit their needs, but you aren't. The dress code is very relaxed. I was paid ten per hour plus bonuses.

Cons

This is a hard sales job, whether or not your managers let on during training. You're calling people who don't understand why they're being solicited. You call these people up to 8 times a day. If you're not willing to psychologically manipulate people into setting an appointment, they will walk you out of the building. Management can sense if you have morals, and they do not tolerate it. You are there to sell. Period. Do not ask for help. Management will help you, but only after tearing you down as a human being and making you question your existence. There are no values, it is a call center. There is no employee discount. There is no credit given if you refer a customer to Sears. PCI compliant, which means your cell phone cannot be on inside the building. Turnover is insane. You're allowed to be off of the phone for bathroom breaks for 5 minutes a day, but they make you get off the phone 2 minutes before lunch and break and even that counts as 'not ready' time, so no bathroom trips between your designated breaks. The computer system is from the 90's... just like everything else Sears produces. If your appointment gets pulled off of the schedule for ANY reason is goes against your QLPH which is a metric that your job depends on. So you better hope your project consultant doesn't call out sick on the day of your appointmemt.
