      Decent at work life balance

      Cons

      Management can be bullies. Lacks integrity and honesty. Common discriminatiatory talk. Wastes time Psychologically draining and not worth it

      Over all the company is decent to work for, but avoid call center/customer service at all costs.

      Pros

      Pay is decent for the amount of product and system knowledge required. Full time employees with the company start with 4 weeks of PTO. Company as a whole likes to promote from within, but any opportunity for career growth is dependent on what department you're in.

      Cons

      Management in the "Enterprise Contact Center" (ECC) does not care about employees' well being at all. You are nothing more than a number to them. "Performance reviews" are just smoke and mirrors to justify raises lower than the cost of living increase each year - management outright admits no one in this role can "exceed expectations".

      Historical thought processes: “this is the way we've always done it” and certain managers should not be managing people and are doing it poorly. A lot of associates have been at securian for a long time which is usually beneficial, but not in this case, slow decisions, too many meetings and requested action seems to be based on title of the requestor in many departments
