Pros

BEFORE Chris Hilger…. Family oriented business. I was proud to work there. Great benefits, non political, opportunities to grow

Cons

Bob Senkler retired and the chaos began! Coley Bloomfield is probably rolling in his grave at the demise of the environment. The 2019 buyout was the best decision I ever made!

Pros

Good retirement benefits with annual PSP and Defined Benefit Plan. I do not know how much longer the DBP will be around. The company has had financial security with good ratings and pretty much never any negative news headlines. They support continued education, licensing, and designations. There are a lot of women in management positions.

Cons

They recently sold off two departments which makes job security unstable. They are not open to new ideas. You need to stick to their script or else you will be shunned. They forced their employees to get the COVID vaccine. This resulted in employees who had been with the company for 20 or even 25 plus years to be let go. They then reversed the mandate 9 months later after so many had lost their jobs.

Pros

Safe environment, mostly secure positions (things might be changing as they're selling off business), easy work, good people

Cons

Lack of focus on associate development, role responsibilities evolve and individuals take on more but salaries don't increase, overall strategy is very lackluster and prioritization often seems non-existent
