Pros

Multinational company with people from everywhere.

Cons

Unrealistic work loads- refusal to adequately staff with people of sufficient skills and lack of willingness to invest to train staff, so senior level employees have workloads far exceeding what they should while other employees are doing nothing and refusing work due to insufficient experience and training. Constant changing of goal posts and changing of terms making it more difficult to obtain bonuses and incentives. Mixed messages from management- local management and governance does not match advise and objectives advised by international senior management. Preaches culture of empathy and inclusion, however the reality in offices is closed minded and discourages open and honest conversations.

Pros

Training was alright and the work-from-home option was appealing.

Cons

I was terminated because Sedgwick failed to resolve an IT issue that left me without working equipment. IT told me only management could request replacements, and management claimed IT made the decision. No one owned the problem. My team lead was silent the entire time, and HR gave me no real answers. When I questioned why my pay was reduced, they suddenly claimed I needed an electrician’s report—something IT never required. They offered me three last-minute choices: resign, go to an office (despite being hired remotely), or get fired. I never chose to leave they terminated me due to their own poor communication and lack of accountability.

Pros

Pick the right team and there are some great people, good perks and freedom to work remotely

Cons

Serious lack of support when things get tough, rude head of department recruited for all the wrong reasons who managed to drive 50% of the team to leave, serious lack of support & engagement from the US and team who this individual reported into and no personal interaction or support whatsoever from the whole team. Never ever worked anywhere quite so harsh in that regard proving you are simply a number to them
