Pros

It is a job.

Cons

I seriously do not know how they keep growing, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. They are so cheap, you don't even get the tools needed to do your job effectively. They just keep piling the work on with total disregard for your sanity. As long as they just keep assigning the claims that is all they care about. Oh & "caring counts" is just a tag line. They could care less about their employees. I will be out of here soon but if I can save one person the constant frustration of working in a ridiculous atmosphere I will have accomplished a lot!

Pros

Dental benefits. Free coffee. TCM nurses and some vendors are very helpful.

Cons

Low pay, exorbitant amount of claims, unreasonable expectations, never feel you are caught up because you never will be, mediocre healthcare benefits, toxic work culture, incompetent managers, regular unapplicable mandatory time-consuming training and meetings which pull you away from your insurmountable workload.

Pros

Was paid $14/hr for a terrible job that triggered major anxiety and depression state. It is probably guaranteed that the client you work for will have better STD and LTD arrangements than Sedgwick has for their own employees because they have no problem letting their employees know that they are expendable.

Cons

The place reeks of favoritism, no raises unless you are promoted, don't expect any kind of respect from anybody. The job involves dealing with nothing but unhappy people who are either sick or having kids so there's a wide swing of emotions to deal with and as just a CSR, you are left with a whole bunch of nothing that you can do and you have to rely on case managers who are bogged down with too much of a workload.
