* Although they are trying to increase the morale you still feel the bitterness. * They took away WFH on a weekly basis. * I was there for over a while and I was never sent on a training course or conference. I even asked for training and it was just kept in my development path and nothing happened. * After going to some interviews before finally leaving I realized I have really platoed or even taken steps back in my professional career in the process and the tools. * If you are looking to move up in a company, good luck.. there is no room for movement if you're in the engineering department. * Marketing seems to get all the focus and "privileged" treatment * working from home is unofficially allowed when really needed, but you get dirty looks and a lot of slack from upper management. * Random Emails from the CEO about role changes, people getting let go etc. Makes for a very unsettling time. * They are depending on people leaving to replace them with new hires so they don't have a comparison to what it was like before. * Benefits are subpar. no chiro, physio, vision, massage etc.

After the acquisition 20+ people out of 130 from former Geosoft were laid off. Then 10+ people (very professional staff) quit Toronto office. The company became a horrible place to work. They no longer care about people. Salaries are low. Work only in the office. The management is clueless. The only thing they care about is to return their investment because they loaded a lot of debt to purchase Geosoft, so the financial stability is questionable.
