Pros

Ability to work from home, good co-workers.

Cons

Very mismanaged company. The top people have no insurance experience and have changed the leads to really poor quality leads to save on market spend. We used to get very well qualified leads. Now we are mostly getting 6 mos auto policies that pay you nothing. Comp plan changes are common in sales but this company has no idea how to be profitable, so they keep cutting the agents commissions and asking them to do way more for way less pay. I think they want to clean house and get less experience sales agent because most of the tenured agents are looking for other jobs because they can't survive on their income.

Pros

Immediate management is nice and fun to work with

Cons

80 percent of the AEP agents aren't making a livable wage. I put in 240 hours in October and made roughly 800 dollars in commissions. This is wrong because I was near the top percentile of the group. The only ones making good money are the top 5% of the group. Also the rules change on a day to day basis. You're hired at 8 hours a day according to the job description, they make us stay a mandatory 10 hours per day. I work hard at this company and struggle to pay my bills on a monthly basis. My credit cards are maxed out because I can't keep up and this is coming from a top percentile sales agent at SelectQuote.

Pros

Work from home option for preforming agents Great Co Workers

Cons

Upper Management changed compensation plan multiple times much higher goals followed by low percentage payouts. Management ask us to trust them but its pretty hard to trust when this has been an on going situation that is effecting every agent on the floor. Feedback is given to management but doesn't seem to actually make a difference. Senior sales agents have seem to have lost faith it what once was great place to work. Lots of time wasted with recent lead quality.
