Pros

Interview process was quick. Hired after 1 interview. They need to get people in the door quickly but you'll be out the door just as quickly -- you are subject to being fired every day.

Cons

There are two modes of operation here: 1) They tell people one glorious story then never follow through on compensation, benefits, work environment, promises; and 2) SQS keeps moving and firing people as a way to unsettle and obfuscate what the real plans are... it's a numbers game that requires butts in seats and people taking calls for nine weeks. Once the deadline occurs, all heads will roll. If this is how the grants ran bma and labone, they should be ashamed.

Pros

A company of worker bees.

Cons

I worked for this company for over 9.5 years. I started off in sales, then enrollment, customer service and finally a transfer agent. Your job security is based on how you perform during Annual Enrollment Period which is 7 weeks each year. There is no work like/balance. 12 to 14 hour days and six days a week. They encourage you not to take breaks or lunch. If you do your bonus/commission check is affected negatively. They will not provide six month compensation package until 2-3 weeks into the period. Therefore you don't have the time make a decision to stay because AEP has already started. Their stock price is still very low. I lost 90 percent of the value in my stock. One year they told me not to come back to work for three weeks in December. A week later they called me back because they did not want me to file unemployment. Another year I was promoted to trainer and promised $16.50/ hour and was paid $14.50. The temps were making the same wage. There is no growth and always cutting your income.
