Pros

Flexible work schedule and remote options. They will pay or reimburse you for your insurance licensing so it's a good "in" for the industry.

Cons

Pretty much everything else sucks. Don't trust what they say about inbound leads, all leads are provided through 3rd party solicitors that lie cheat and steal to get clients over to you. Lead quality has gone down dramatically since I started 2 years ago and I'm looking at other options as fast as possible. The "marketing" team does little to nothing. Top agents get fed the few good leads that are produced from our commercials online or by radio. All other agents get leads purchased from 3rd party solicitors, many of who's agent are not based in the USA. Our main priority is to switch peoples insurance plans and your managers will berate you for not doing everything in your power to switch them even if the person doesn't actually need anything. I'm sorry for the negativity but please please please look at the reviews on the glassdoor and you'll see the same thing over and over again. Stay far away from this company unless you are just desperate for work.

Pros

Easy to get hired. Pay is alright.

Cons

They lied about the job. They said it will all be incoming calls, but not always from people calling in directly. Most calls are from confused elderly people not knowing what they’re signing up for and you have to just read the script if they have any questions. We had 2 days of training and they pushed us to start taking calls and management was a dumpster fire and didn’t help when we were all making mistakes. The mistakes count against you even on your first day on the phones.

Pros

work from home, literally THAT IS IT

Cons

literally one of the worst places I’ve worked at. they’re a literal mess, and if you join just before AEP they train you for max a week, throw you in the sea of sharks and barely even support you. I was lucky to have a good supervisor and team lead and after my SV left us my team lead quit, because we got an awful SV who didn’t even know what they were doing. my new SV made comments about how I spoke and how I speak too fast & she gets it since it’s a “part of your culture” (btw those were her exact words) since I’m Puerto Rican. but apart from that, they have huge favoritism, aren’t supportive, and they plain suck. the job also sucks, you get harassed daily by seniors, literally gave me the worst depression of my life. and once it started catching up to me, I got FIRED. because I struggled with keeping up with my job, even thought they claim to offer mental health support, and mental health days… more lies. I got literally written up for everything, even though i was “one of the best on the team” one week then the next they had another issue. they are scammers and literally just sell you the job, they changed my position 3 times before I even started the actual job. that should’ve been the first red flag. then when i accidentally missed a digit on my direct deposit account number & I apologized and tried to fix my mistake, they paid the other bank account and “didn’t want to send a letter to my bank” stating that they won’t get involved because it’s my fault, even though I let them know they didn’t have to, just that my bank needed proof that it actually belonged in MY account to move the money back, they didn’t want to get involved. even though i worked for that money. that should’ve been another red flag. anyways, run run run run is all I can suggest. many other stressless jobs out there that pay $15 an hour lol. not worth it. i worked here for 11 months, almost an entire year and it was literally just time wasted. you also have to make seniors feel super uncomfortable to just make maybe $1 per call of bonus if you meet the metrics too lol. to actually make money you have to be a full on telemarketer and they make you push push push no matter what, no matter how uncomfortable anyone on the call is. also the licensed sales agents you transfer calls to in the actual company are no help and highly unprofessional, just like the entire company. and i’m not the only one who’s experienced unfair termination, someone sent a mass email to the company about their unfair treatment and experience, and they literally told us “don’t read it, delete it, delete it” and they sent hundreds of emails to everyone in the company. then they just shut it down and made us act like it didn’t happen. this isn’t even half of it. but if you DO accept a position here, good freaking luck.
