Work from home That's about the only PRO this company gets.

Cons

Ripoff! They will fly you to their headquarters in KS and wow you, don't fall for it. This operation is a trainwreck and they know it. Bottom line the leads are tiered and when you start, they sure make you pay for your training by essentially taking all your money (commission) away. you'll get about 1-3% or your premium. My class last July had 27 people (not all remotes, but all agents). 7 months later, more than half are gone. You can do better, don't do it!!!

Pros

Working on the corporate side, the organizational structure is very flat. I'm on a first-name basis with most of the C-suite and collaboration with them on ideas/analysis is encouraged. Skill and career growth at a company like SelectQuote come in dog years; 1-2 years there are similar to 7-14 years at a larger company (coming from a large company myself). Company culture is outstanding, I genuinely like the people I work with, and will have at least 1-2 friendly side-conversations with people I don't directly work with a day.

Cons

Emphasis on the "work" part of the saying work hard, play hard. There are also some arcane tech practices that still linger and are at times difficult to navigate

They're inflating their numbers so they can sell the company. Any investor needs to understand that the positive reviews here are complete BS. Avoid this company like the plague, unless you're just pushing for a public option and you don't care about people's lives.
