Pros

Working from home and decent pay.

Cons

Was told leads would come directly from customers looking for a plan, but the majority of leads came from third party transfers where the customer was forced to speak to a sales agent or they were trying to hang up...the majority of the leads were garbage. Commission structure was forever changing. This company will hire hundreds of sales agent during AEP only to fire them when it's over.

Pros

Working from home, not much else.

Cons

Very little work/life balance you are pushed constantly for mediocre gains. An “occurrence” system instead of sick days. Even if you’re sick had a family emergency dosent matter what it is they will count it as one “occurrence” after 4 you get a warning after 5 you get a write-up and so on. No sick days so if you’re ill you basically get penalized. Pay structure is laughable compared to any other place, you’re a licensed agent it’s pathetic what they pay you and what they pocket. Nothing to try and train and better you.

Pros

They give out a lot of prizes.

Cons

Good luck getting a lead to make a phone call. I'm used to a leveling structure within a company. I have never worked for a company that seems to have almost zero leads for those in the bottom levels. Even though they are not providing you leads which they said they would they require you to constantly be on the phone. You will constantly be told to call clients who have already been worked by other agents on outbound calls even though you were told no outbound calls are made. These clients have been called 100's of times by other agents within the company as well. If there is an issue out of your control you could be moved departments multiple times, even though it isn't the job you applied for. They hired so many people my licenses were not set up properly and told me I had to change departments with less money or be fired. If you are not good with technology, DO NOT take this job. Not only is the equipment they provide (laptop, monitors, headsets) constantly breaking, but the POS (point of sale) system is constantly crashing or having updates. You would think this company is a start up and not one that has been around for over 20 years.
