Pros

The training is very thorough and decently compensated. A good place to learn sales. I liked most of my managers even though you basically get a new manager every 6 weeks.

Cons

If you are really unethical and scummy you will do great here. I did very well during AEP through the two main enrollment periods. After open enrollment went to Final expense life insurance and after one bad month of trying to learn something new I got fired. It is a "what have you done for me lately" business. The compensation really isn't that great compared to other local companies. No residuals. I guess it's nice that they pay for your leads, but when you're on the phone for 8+ hours a day and making like 56 bucks a policy it's not very rewarding. Don't even try to use PTO unless you don't want to hit quota and keep your job. Bottom Line: Worst job I've ever had which is a shame because the building is very nice and there are some really good people there.

Pros

Manager and team members are amazing

Cons

Bonus is hard to get and it has been reduced From 5-6k to 1-2k commissions. Strict with attendance where you can’t swap with anyone or Make up hours if you need to take a day or hour off. Pto must be used and if your child is sick you will get a point for missing the day. 700 connections a day, they ignore the dnc and encourage you to get abused on the phone by customers or you may not hit median or higher conversions that eventually affect your bonus.

Pros

Remote work; equipment provided; company paid licensing

Cons

Continues to change comp plan on a monthly to semi-monthly basis, with very little notice. Lowered per enrollment commissions in May, citing processes/scripts had been improved/shortened, so we should get less. Then for June, increased enrollment scripts/processes (checking all doctors in network, verifying agent went over all the costs) and LOWERED the commission again - he literally said we made too much money in our position! A 20% decrease per policy, more QA dings to lower pay further, longer scripts with much repeated information resulting in fewer enrollments per hour...
