Good entry level job to learn sales....but
Pros
The training is very thorough and decently compensated. A good place to learn sales. I liked most of my managers even though you basically get a new manager every 6 weeks.
Cons
If you are really unethical and scummy you will do great here. I did very well during AEP through the two main enrollment periods. After open enrollment went to Final expense life insurance and after one bad month of trying to learn something new I got fired. It is a "what have you done for me lately" business. The compensation really isn't that great compared to other local companies. No residuals. I guess it's nice that they pay for your leads, but when you're on the phone for 8+ hours a day and making like 56 bucks a policy it's not very rewarding. Don't even try to use PTO unless you don't want to hit quota and keep your job. Bottom Line: Worst job I've ever had which is a shame because the building is very nice and there are some really good people there.
