      Constant change, sudden lay offs

      Pros

      There are great people across departments, very strong product team, and overall nice benefits (if you will be lucky to stick around long enough to access those).

      Cons

      Multiple changes of direction (3-5 times a year a massive change in structure, strategy, etc), no stability. Higher management can't seem to decide where to go. After all the talks about how great the results are, literally next week absolutely random lay offs, letting go of people who are praised in their departments without any notice. One meeting and you are out after multiple years. No reason, no explanation. Just massive disappointment and fury. At least, people were paid smth on the way out though. But wow, that was unpleasant

      Perfect opportunity

      Pros

      Maximum flexibility, like working from home which was important for me. Unlimited PTO etc. Salary is nice and the job is not too overwhelming.

      Cons

      So far none, everything has been great. From colleagues who are supportive in everything, to team lead which is always there for you during and after onboarding. HR responding quickly etc.

      Bloated unqualified management

      Pros

      Developers, Analysts, and Designers are very nice to talk to

      Cons

      Constant hiring freezes, stock bonuses are so low it feels like an insult. New CEO is so old, not sure if he ever tried Chatgpt at all. CIO is just a fake "AI expert" without education, experience or any relevant background. CPO never speaks to a real customer, living in his dreams. Director of Analytics is a marketing specialist. Finance is just a pure mess. There are very smart and talented employees with relevant education and background, but they are mostly ignored.
