Pros
Sendoso is quickly growing organization with tons of opportunities to pursue interesting internal positions and grow through new experiences. For example: Sendoso sends top performing Account Executives, Sales Development Reps, and Customer Success Managers to all kinds of industry-leading events that provide the platform to mingle with thought leaders and other professionals across a multitude of fields.
One of the most important aspects of working at Sendoso is that being a self-starter is rewarded with an autonomous work environment and creative freedom, with help from great leadership. As long as you have a well thought out plan, you're encouraged to bring these ideas to the table and work with the leadership teams to make them a reality. It's rare that a company truly stands behind their employees and provides a risk-free environment (within reason) to learn and grow.
Being that we operate in relatively uncharted territory, in that we are first to market with the world's first sending platform, there are many new challenges to face every day. We are defining a space in terms of the unique value we provide so each day you are presented with a new set of growth opportunities. So far, there hasn't been a day where I felt bored or unchallenged in my role and each day sincerely feels like we're all contributing to something larger than ourselves.
Additional perks:
- Great benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k with matching, etc.)
- Tons of snacks (the quintessential Bay Area start-up perk)
- Unlimited PTO
- Dogs allowed in the office (hard to ever be in a bad mood)
If you're looking for a fast paced, exciting, rewarding, and people-first company to work for, Sendoso could be your new home.
Cons
Start up life isn't for everyone. People have failed here when they weren't able to manage their time well or work autonomously (sometimes with limited direction). While leadership is willing to drop what they're doing to help, sometimes it takes the proactive effort to seek out support instead of waiting for it.
