Pros
Sendoso has all of the standard bells and whistles you come to expect from Bay Area- based startups: team outings/ happy hours, full pantry and fridge, company drone, Buck Hunter, subscription to the Fruit Guys for weekly produce delivery, weekly catered lunches, fun and interesting people. It checks all of those boxes.
More important to me is that I feel that I work very hard, but the company rewards a job well done. I earn a good living.
You get an annual bonus for travel, and an additional 'Working from Beach' bonus for posting a picture of yourself working from a remote destination.
I have worked in the space we play in for a long time, which gives me street cred on calls with customers, and allows me to position myself as an industry leader.
The co- founders are great guys. Genuinely. They keep the hierarchy flat, and will listen to you. For that matter, there are no bad seeds that work here- everybody is super nice and good at their job!
The company does seem to innovate MUCH faster than other companies I have been at (sometimes to the detriment to bugs that have been raised- there's only so many ENG hours to go around).
Cons
The head count needs are real. We NEED to fill those seats!
There's a bit more 'behind closed doors' maneuverings going on lately...
Honestly, no real complaints.
