Pros

-HQ has a great office and amenities -Nice people, for the most part

Cons

The company has taken a drastic turn. They preach ABM but have instead started to embrace a boiler-room, call-center mentality by essentially outsourcing their sales team to a remote office in AZ.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here. Going from idea to a Series B round of funding, creating multiple revenue streams, and growing an organization to over 200 employees in just 3 years is indeed a challenge—but one that we’re willing to take on. There will always be ambiguity and change as you discover and optimize for product-market fit. We are doubling down in San Francisco this year, but need to recognize the new workplace trends that require employers to adapt across different regions. With this, every employee is given ownership and held accountable as we work together to solve big problems. Each year, we reflect on all the positive learnings which ultimately have contributed to our success, set a roadmap, and look to improve as we create a new value category of business. We always welcome feedback to help us get better.

Pros

As a salesperson, there is so much green field to take advantage of and the product market fit is incredible. That alone probably can’t be said for most companies in the Phoenix area. So for a notoriously brutal role, this is one of the best account/development positions I’ve seen (as long as you put in the work of course!). Amazing culture, and easily my favorite group of people I have ever worked with. Sales/ADR Specific Pros: - Best of class sales enablement tools: SENDOSO, Salesforce, Zoominfo, Salesloft - Emphasis on Sendoso - rare to work at a place whose product helps make your job easier - Impressively built-out Salesforce instance for age of company but still plenty of untouched prospects - Supportive culture - people compete to bring the best out of each other but are also always willing to help - Director of Inside Sales, Joe, best manager I've worked for - Tiered promotion system that earns you raises in pay solely based on performance - Clear expectations - at least during my time, there were no levitating quotas Company-Specific Pros - Fun, simple mission statement to get-behind and strive to achieve - High salary + clear commission structure - Great benefits - unlimited PTO, health/vision/dental benefits - Semi casual work attire - Catered lunch on Wednesdays, breakfast burritos on Fridays - Snacks, Bevvy machine - Monthly happy hour - Half-day on your half birthday - Best company mascot (Stella!)

Cons

- In my opinion this wasn’t a con but important for those considering Sendoso - it's a high performing hyper-growth startup - quotas are attainable but require more than showing up 9-5, meaning the most successful spend time at home prospecting or preparing regardless of role - Some necessary processes implemented to control the direction of the company can cause friction in a organization of this stage (e.g., ROE, performance reviews, growth opportunities, etc.) - Director of Inside Sales is a Patriots fan

Pros

Sendoso has a team of skilled, talented, passionate people and a great vision. The product is cool.

Cons

Growing pains, expansion outside of the Bay Area, no clear structure, poor benefits, gossipy culture, and entirely remote engineering team.

Thanks for this feedback. We raised our Series A in 2019, and that year came with a ton of success and learning. As a result, we’ve made the commitment to build out the product, design, and engineering teams in San Francisco to facilitate collaborative, customer-first development and we look forward to the next stage of exciting growth.
