If you are new to EMS you can work and eventually transfer to 911 or somewhere else after you accrue experience. You can pick up as much overtime as you want, that is because they have such a high turnover rate .

Cons

The atmosphere is very toxic. This company does not truly care about their employee's safety and well being Their pay is horribly low for the amount of work and time they demand from you. They ask for way more than they give. You will never get off your shift on time, so if you have plans after work, cancel it. This was very frustrating for me.

Pros

Great place to learn the ropes. You are going to have great partner's. Schedule's are flexible if you are part time.

Cons

Very low pay to the point I had to quit for a better job. Very old faulty equipment. Favoritism is heavy. And they will work you to death if you let them.
