Pros

Work-life balance is a myth — flexible hours and ~1 day per week option to work remotely. Opportunities to work on diverse projects across the stack. Management is approachable and mostly transparent. Compensation is competitive within the industry.

Cons

Career progression can feel slow at times; promotion timelines aren't always clearly defined and depend heavily on your manager. Compensation, while decent, doesn't always keep pace with market rates for senior roles unless you negotiate proactively.

Pros

Sense is redefining the way hiring is done and it was a great experience for me to be part of some of these initiatives. In my stint of one and half year at Sense (which I left a couple of months back due to some personal challenges), I had a exceptional run. Worked on some of the key areas in their automation platform. Really cutting edge technologies and a very open environment to bring in ideas to India engineering leadership and then freedom to experiment and execute. Open culture, good product team, and plenty of scope to do cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing sessions. I worked on some of their other products such as AI Chatbot and Analytics. Overall, my experience here has been incredibly positive. I am proud to be a part of this team and look forward to join them back if possible.

Cons

Work hours could long at times if there are critical releases planned.
