      Not a Bad Place to Be

      Pros

      I find myself both appreciated and valued. I am fortunate to work with a great team in a great organization who believes in investing in its' people. I am given the freedom to pursue results in a manner I believe will be successful but have a support system available when it is needed.

      Cons

      Like most other companies these days, this is a results driven organization. If you do not produce, you will be held accountable. Technology, dress, and culture are a bit dated.

      Threating Work Environment – Management By Fear

      Sensient is good at covering up and not being exposed publicly.

      Cons

      Autocratic management style akin to dictatorship and tyrannical behavior by leadership making a majority of employees feel helpless with their individual job security tested each workday. It is a true military chain of command work environment where employees better not step out of rank by making a value-added decision. If so, they are literally “thrown under the bus”. A robot could possibly survive at Sensient.
