Pros
They provide paid training, paid time off, medical benefits, and retirement plan. There are so many great people to work with. There’s really a sense of community. They give plenty of opportunity to grow your skills. I still miss the people I worked with and would still be working there if I didn’t have to move.
Cons
You really are not compensated for the value that you bring. I worked there for over three years and received glowing reviews for my performance yet people hired two years after I was were making more Money than I was because their base pay was higher. It felt really wrong to me that they were not compensating me for my experience and that people that I was training were making the same amount as me. They also work you to the bone by understaffing the unit. There are too many responsibilities for too few people. All they want is for you to work harder to meet quality goals with less staff.
