Pros

Gratis. Smart women. Open to listen for process improvement, team building opportunities outside of the office. Collaboration with many other different teams.

Cons

Systems always changing. Lack of training. HR and Senior executives not challenging poor managers. Work/Life balance can be difficult with all of the deadlines.

Pros

If you want a career they really work with you. Development is fantastic. The core values are great. Education is a priority for their employees. Client service is second to none! Bonus is amazing! They show appreciation to the teams.

Cons

Not much training for leadership, they get left in the sidelines. Store directors are not consistent some are amazing. And a lot are power hungry and insensitive. Payroll is such an issue, so many people quit because of hours being cut. It is a hard place to work if you are an adult. The artistry is a mess! They force the employees to be exclusive to sephora, they do not promote them doing makeup outside of work, they cannot get tips, and there is not a lot focus on artistry.

Pros

Discounts are awesome I was able get a lot of make up for pretty cheap especially the Sephora brand! The other make up had a nice discount too. It's a nice place to work for although my second time around was better! I got better pay and a better team to work with. They have fun little contest to do which is nice. When you do get freebies that's also a plus!

Cons

Hours suck I literally had to fight for more hours she gave them to her favorites. The freebies were also given to permanent workers mostly and seasonal only their favorites got them. They're not upfront and don't always try to help at times the permanent people think they're better than you for being seasonal. Also the pay was horrendous I literally got 8.50 and hour when I worked there the second time I ended up with 10.50 which I'm ok with because it was definitely better! Sometimes even when you weren't going to get a job offer they'd "interview" you just to tell you they didn't actually want to keep you.
