Pros

Very fun job duties, free training product, lots of interaction with people, growth opportunity at a corporate level. Great values. Fun coworkers. Depending on the location, you get a great overall environment. The new store manager is amazing and has excellent vision for store culture and expectations that align more closely with corporate standards.

Cons

This particular location struggled with high turnover due to a few poor managers. The expectation is that you will exceed expectations which creates an impossible and frustrating scenario for employees. There's also a pretty big lack of training. You kind of have to learn as you go. The raise structure is also very frustrating.

Pros

You get to train with many brands like Charlotte Tillbury and Nars an experience you find anywhere else .

Cons

Many people have a false idea about what Sephora really is. I thought it was helping people apply makeup and guiding them to the best products turns out it was just about pushing credit cards on people and signing them up to be beauty insider.
