Pros

Equal Opportunity Employer, Work Life Balance is actively encouraged. Since Sephora is so Development Driven, Sephora invest a lot on employees training and in their compensation. The company is moving in the right direction with new stores opening almost every year and with current store being remodeled. Management is not just Management, they feel you feel like family and want occasionally want to know how life is outside of work to make sure everything is how it should be. If your career driven Sephora will make sure you reach the goal you intend on achieving.

Cons

If your just looking for a job I wouldn't recommend Sephora due to it's intense peak hours and traffic. You can find yourself discouraged, worn out, and not wanting to go to work because there is actually a lot for you to do, so without that drive giving you that push, you'll most likely burn out.

Pros

Staff are really nice, you get gratis, they’re very accommodating to some people’s schedules. Some people at my location only work a day a week, it’s rare but if you’ve been with the company long enough they will be really understanding, I think. I wouldn’t ask for that initially though. You can receive bonuses some. Months, though they aren’t guaranteed.

Cons

Staff aren’t transparent about pay. I recently learned that my pay is $2-3 under most of my coworkers per hour. My pay is $3.50 under living wages for a full time employee in my area. I’m only able to work part time so it’s not livable wages. They also don’t properly map out your personal responsibilities or you’ll have counterintuitive responsibilities. We’re sometimes understaffed and because of this you need to be flexible and ask if your responsibilitiesa need to be shifted. Sometimes i get completely different orders from leadership.
