      Pros

      Fun company, great benefits, great learning. Non commission retail makes for a much more peaceful work environment. Great insurance plan if you work "partial part time" which means nearly full time, but not quite.

      Cons

      The hierarchy of positions is extremely convoluted and "promotions" to "elevated" positions are simply a different job title that rarely comes with additional pay.

      Fun environment, good pay, chance to practice doing what you love.

      Cons

      Management. It was my first week working at Sephora inside JC Penny and there was a struggle in schedule. I am a full time student in beauty school. I am released at 4:30pm from school. They do not care about your personal life. I was fired because I was 5 minutes late within my first week, and did not have a "full face." no proper training or information on how they want your face to look. So apparently if you're missing eyeliner you can get fired when the manager herself doesn't even have a "full face." No specifics on what they are looking for.

      You receive free make-up. Get to meet awesome people who also share passion for make up. Monthly bonus.

      Cons

      Some employees are really stuck up and no communication between management and employees.
