Pros

Working at Sephora comes with a few pros - gratis (obviously) however most products you won't even use - recognition for hard work - opportunity to experience different worlds (skin, colour, fragrance and ops) and see what you like and where you want to be - a lot of cast, especially in leadership, are such sweet people and are truly dedicated to give their best every single day - don't have to worry about buying clothes for work since you get a costume (uniform)

Cons

Just like any other work place there are cons - the environment is mainly women and that can get unpleasant at times - certain leadership members abuse their position by treating cast like slaves and let out their frustration on cast - just like any retail job you're pressured to sell a lot, however you're not on commission and you do receive a bonus if plan sales are made - leadership says one thing and does another. I was promised a while back to be switched to a different world and still waiting. As well promised training keeps getting put off over and over again by lead - pay is different for everyone and often times unfair (luckily mine was good to start with) - work is extremely tiring by dealing with a large volume of clients all day on your feet - low pay compared to other beauty retailers - confusing work lingo
