Pros

Overall, its i decent place to work and earn 65k plus Decent pay Excellent benifits Longevity of career (pretty hard to get fired) Possible overtime Railroad retirement

Cons

There is very little room for advancement. Some of the shift work are terible hours. Some of management take the job to peraonal.

Pros

Pay, medical, dental, prescription & pension. Also lots of overtime available. Vacation time is good also, paid holidays, 60days of sick time per year that rollover

Cons

Top heavy organization. Some supervisors have no clue as to how the transit industry works & only for there job because of who they knew. Management think there's not gray area to company rules & 9 times out of 10 will not flex the rules based on the situation. Lots of hours, fluctuation in schedule til you gain seniority, rude & hostile passengers, run schedules are some times to tight

Cons

They only promote people who "play ball", anyone with ambition and a genuine work ethic will be beaten down and turned into a mindless employee. Insane amounts of waste.
