Pros

Good pay, Great Health Benefits, Easy to make overtime, You get paid every Friday, Free travel for employees on the entire Septa system

Cons

Management, No safety culture, Fares come first, Probation period is way to long, Conductors using cell phones which is a federal violation, way to easy to get fired

- Good pay: Septa has some of the highest pay for public employees in the area - Good benefits - Decent amount of overtime: you can make up to 1/3 of your salary in OT - Generally good people

Cons

- Dead end jobs: you may stay at a position for years till you retire even - No real opportunities to move up
