      You are controlled, you can not get out of your seat, you have to stay even if there is no work, you can not read, you can not play a game, you can not exercise. You have to obey your supervisor's every command. You can not think for yourself.

      Pros

      Good working environment, meaningful mission and a team that is more like a family. At the end of the day you feel that you made a difference is someone's life, helping them start a new chapter and discover more opportunities.

      Cons

      The pay is extremely low for a job that requires a master's degree, most of the counselors in the office can get jobs that pay AT LEAST double what they are getting right now, but they either love what they are doing and passionate about helping others, or stuck in this area geographically due to family reasons...
