Pros
The contract I work on has a feel of a start up. As a senior consultant, I am able to shape the team and company IT process and operations. The leadership is open to creating standardization across the organization.
Cons
People are promoted, without providing them the necessary skills to do their jobs, which creates a chaotic environment. Pay is towards the lower end of the spectrum. You are expected to do more with little feedback and encouragement.
